Inspiring examples of drawing landscapes in several media.

Warning!!!! This book was published before as Masterclass Drawing Landscapes. . . It says it in the description of this book, and on the back of the book. The cover has changed, but the content is the same. So if you have the other book, I wouldn't buy this one. This has several beautiful examples of the author's landscape drawings. She does have some pictures with vague step by step instructions. Some of the artwork is in graphite and water soluble graphite. Some is in ink. I found it interesting that she did some of her drawing with permanent ink, while other parts of the drawing she did in water soluble ink. Then she used a water brush, and activated the ink to make tonal washes. The picture of the city on the cliffs of France is amazing! She shows how she did it by drawing the groups of houses in permanent ink, and the cliffs and trees in water soluble ink. Some of the art is in charcoal, and some is in pastel. I was slightly disappointed that all the pictures were in black and white, although she said that several were on toned paper. . .
