The character development was phenomenal!

“Okay, I might not have normal, but I can have special.” * This was the first novel of Brenner’s that I read and it certainty won’t be my last! I was absolutely blown away by the intricate, complex, and relatable characters that she created. Penny is young, smart, talented, & facing difficult challenges stemming from her OCD. Bea is rich, career driven, stubborn, & lonely. The two of them find themselves connected to one another after a devastating loss. Will they become enemies or will a friendship blossom? The Sag Harbor setting of this novel was enviable and makes this one a perfect beach read!
