In the year of 675 C.E, Drakys, the continent Africa before it was Africa, is a land filled with magic, monsters, and most importantly, dragons, the ones ruling the landmass with an iron grip. The territory is split between five dragon siblings with the main leader being King Malum Est Verostes, a giant black dragon with a mask seeking to end all semblance of human rule, unless controlled by him. But there is a prophecy that a rebellion believes in where a human girl will rise up to help them defeat this tyrant. The girl in question, Daya Rivers, is ripped out of her normal life in Baarna when an assassin tries to kill her, and is thrown into an adventure where she meets many unique characters and goes to multiple locations in an effort to get to the Rebellion. Meanwhile, a greater, darker, unknown power gathers in secret to make a world in his image...
