Avenida de Pedralbes, Barcelona, una de la madrugada. La mano de un cad ver, envuelta en pl sticos, asoma junto a unos contenedores. Es el cuerpo sin vida de Clarise, una conocida modelo sexual de internet. En el interior de uno de los contenedores, en un sobre transparente, encuentran un trozo de piel de la v ctima y la figura amenazante de un drag n de origami.

En la sede de los Mossos d'Esquadra todos tienen claro que es un caso perfecto para el sargento Masip, pero este est fuera de servicio. Despu s de una pol mica intervenci n policial, Xavi Masip fue apartado de sus obligaciones y todav a sigue pendiente de investigaci n interna.

Sin embargo, cuando un segundo cad ver aparece en Cadaqu s y se confirma que est n ante un asesino en serie, el grupo de homicidios liderado por Masip y el de Cadaqu s, encabezado por la compleja y enigm tica Cristina Espejel, unir n fuerzas para atrapar al culpable.

Mientras tanto, el asesino contin a enviando mensajes a trav s de esos dragones de origami que parecen esconder un oscuro secreto ligado a una de las tradiciones m s inquietantes de la Ciudad Condal.

Avenida de Pedralbes, Barcelona, 1:00 a.m. Amid the trash bins there can be glimpsed a hand, wrapped in sheets of plastic. Upon closer inspection, it leads to the lifeless body of Clarise, a well-known Internet porn model. Inside one of the containers, in a transparent envelope, is a piece of the victim's skin and the ominous figure of an origami dragon.

Back at the police station, everyone agrees that it is a perfect case for Sargeant Masip, but he has been suspended following a controversial investigation and is waiting to hear back from internal affairs.

All too soon, however, a second body appears in the coastal town of Cadaqu s and it becomes clear that a serial killer is on the prowl. Masip is called back, and he and his squad are teamed up with their peers in Cadaqu s, led by the enigmatic Cristina Espejel.

In the meantime, the killer continues to send messages through the paper dragons he leaves at the scene of these crimes, hinting at a dark secret linked to a disturbing Catalan legend.
