DRAGONBORN: THE SON OF SUNFIRE
DRAGONBORN: THE SON OF SUNFIRE
Before humanity ruled the world, dragons ruled the skies.
Before the dragons disappeared, they left behind a son.
His name is Larsil.
For eighteen years, Larsil has lived within the safety of the High Elf kingdom, protected by a mother who refuses to tell him the truth about his past.
But secrets have a way of finding their way into the light.
When Larsil discovers a forbidden tower-and catches his first glimpse of a golden dragon-his carefully protected world begins to unravel. Ancient records reveal a name his mother has spent years refusing to speak:
Vasilli.
The Royal Sun Dragon.
Larsil soon learns that the legends surrounding his family are far more dangerous than he ever imagined. His father is not dead. He is the last being the kingdoms dare speak of openly. And Larsil himself may be something the world has not seen for centuries:
The first true Dragonborn heir.
But dragons are not the only danger.
The Human Empire has been hunting his kind since before Larsil was born. And among the Empire's most deadly weapons is Lyra-a human-High Elf hybrid who was taken from slavery and transformed into a living weapon, trained to kill dragons, High Elves, and Dragonborn.
Her orders are simple:
Find Larsil. Earn his trust. Kill him.
She intends to obey.
Until she begins to see the person beneath the legend.
As Larsil searches for answers, he must confront a brother imprisoned by the High Elves, a mother who has hidden the truth to protect him, an ancient pact beginning to collapse, and a father whose disappearance may be connected to all of it.
Because the greatest secret isn't that the dragons are returning.
It's that one of them never truly left.
And when the sky finally turns gold, the world will remember why it once feared the name-
Vasilli.
DRAGONBORN: THE SON OF SUNFIRE is the first book in an epic fantasy series of dragons, forbidden magic, ancient kingdoms, betrayal, family, and a love that begins between two people who were never supposed to survive each other.
