Dragon of the Gir Forest

By Harondo Evans

Today, the Gir Forest of India is the last home of the wild Asiatic lion-a place that once stood at the edge of a world where lions and tigers shared the forests of India.

Then came the Blood Moon.

On that night, the rarest of tiger cubs was born beneath crimson skies.

And deep within the Gir Forest...

something ancient awakened.

Driven from her homeland, Kaala and her mother journey toward the last kingdom of the Asiatic lions-a place where old rivalries have long kept the jungle balanced on the edge of war.

The tigers have returned.

The lions prepare for war.

But the jungle has been waiting for something else entirely.

Some enemies are older than hatred.

Some wars cannot be won by lions or tigers alone.

As fear spreads and ancient loyalties are tested, two young souls must choose between the families they love and the future of every living creature that calls the Gir Forest home.

Because if lions and tigers cannot stand together once more...

the jungle-and everything beyond it-will fall.

Dragon of the Gir Forest is an epic animal fantasy about loyalty, prejudice, friendship, sacrifice, and the courage to choose unity when the world demands division.
