A Great Book To Prepare for the Inevitable Bush Draft
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 22 years ago
Well, in case you haven't been paying attention, our Chimp-in-Chief is gearing up for a 2005 draft. Absolutely frightening.I read this book during the last "Madness of King George" aka Gulf War I. It is an excellent little book that clearly lays out how the draft system works, draft classifications, who is most likely to be called up, etc. It also offers subtle hints on how to legaly avoid the draft, or at least make it difficult to find you. Some rules have changed since it was published, but at least you will have an idea of what to expect. Thank God I didn't have to use it though. These days, it's a different story...I got my copy from the local library; however, John Ashcrofts' recent intrusions into our library habits would make me think twice about checking it out. better to order it here.I expect there will be a new edition out soon, but by then it may be too late. Please, get this book for you or someone you love and at least give them a fighting chance, no pun intended.
