Fortunately there are people trying to make a difference, like biologist Lou Starr. Mean, strong, and smart, he had a lucky break. Not another fight with a police robot and a quick get away. No, this time he found a living plant. The first plant found growing outdoors naturally, in decades. With a stash of illegal twentieth century automobiles, Lou is headed for mega trouble with the authorities. But illegalities don't bother Lou Starr much, especially when a principle is involved, and since the principle affects Lou's very survival... stay out of Lou's way
