Highly recommend!

Beautifully illustrated with a simple but profoundly reassuring story for kids. It is a treat to share with the children in my life.

Great Book

I read this book to a curious group of 2 year olds. I was starting another job and needed a book to help explain the whole leaving aspect. This book was perfect it is very short and is simplistic. The pages are colorful and the illustrations and wonderful. It is a must have for and children's book collection.

So sweet and captivating...

If you are looking for a book for your toddler or infant, look no further. Don't Worry Bear will make you think of a simpler time with it's sweet story and soothing illustrations. My active two-year old absolutely loves it. An added bonus is the way it shows a caterpillar turning into a butterfly (I'm a teacher, so looking for those teaching moments through literacy is at the forefront of my thinking :) Greg Foley: congrats to you. You deserve the Caldecott on this one.

Amazing book!

What an amazing teaching tool for parents and teachers! As Bear struggles with missing his beloved friend, his understanding of love matures. Foley's artistry inspires the reader to examine Bear's expressions closely. This is a book for all ages as it provides a gentle reminder of the power of love and faith. Simple, yet profound!

Adorable, simple illustrations and sweet little story

Too cute. Both my 2 year old and I love this very simple, very sweet picture book. There is no visual noise, and I find the illustrations almost calming. Highly detailed picture books are also great (esp. older stuff like the Brambly Hedge books - super sweet) but this is really refreshing. Looking forward to getting Thank You Bear as well.
