This study of playbooks was completed as the 2024 Republican Presidential Convention concluded in the nomination of Donald J. Trump. While the fact that he is a convicted felon does not appear to influence his supporters, his irrational behavior and statements may swing a few votes to Biden. As an example, consider his Truth Social posting that he plans to establish a unified Reich if elected. In Hitler's words: "One People, One Realm, One Leader." In a close race Trump's comments may be all that is required to swing the race to Biden. This history provides a comparison of how both individuals achieved their goal of attaining or maintaining power through a playbook and in the case of Trump it can predict his future actions. The book is based upon the works of scholars but more important are the first-hand accounts of people closely associated with these principals such as Heinz Guderian, Hitler's Chief of the General Staff and Adam Kinzinger, the former Republican Congressman. The books of Trump and Hitler are key sources in identifying playbooks.
