In 1991 the documentary Inside New Zealand aired on TV, in New Zealand. The documentary revealed the lives of working dominatrix women after the Peter Plumbly-Walker murder case shocked the nation. Sixteen-year-old schoolgirl M. realised she wasn't alone in her kink as a submissive and found herself inspired to become a dominatrix. After high school, M. becomes involved with an alternative gregarious family.
