Great but one tiny thing...

My favorite in the Maestra series. Well written with interesting twists and turns. My only criticism is that as the books progress (and yes I'm aware they're "erotic thrillers") the erotic scenes kind of get cheesy and more and more crass. They seem like they were written by a male- very much catering to the male gaze. They're almost used as unessesary filler. Lol- I'm no prude, but the story will be cruising right along then all of a sudden (surprise surprise) she had to drop everything and run out to get laid and have the nastiest encounter possible. By the 3rd book, you can tell when it's going to happen and I just started skipping through. No biggie- still great book.
