Very easy to read

This book is written in a conversational tone which makes it very easy and enjoyable to read.

Science You Should Have Studied in College

While everything in this book is what we teachers of young children should be doing in science, not everyone does. And for those of us who treat science with the respect it deserves in the classroom, this is a wonderful refresher course. Anyone who works with young children should own, read, and practice what this book preaches.

Doing What Scientists Do

An excellent resource for novice teachers and those who lack confidence in their ability to teach science to young children. Ellen Doris also offers excellent examples of questioning techniques and how to facilitate expansion of children's work.
