"Doing the Right Thing: it's not easy

If your looking for a book on ethics, this one is interesting and challanging. The content pushes us to look within. It's not always easy to follow the letter of the law in Mental Health Treatment. Yet, we are ethical and legally required to do so. This book confronts the individual's values, and basic moral issues. Then ask us to make some difficulty calls. Yet, it's refreshing to be challanged beyond Tarasoff, consent issues, and the proper way to document our sessions. I hope that I find other readings on this subjest that challenge my belives, and pushes the boundary of normal or expected behavior. It's important to stay atuned to what impact our values have, and to always be aware of the impact we can have on others. I didn't get 100% on the test, but I didn't cheat either.
