Book Description is Cuckoo

The book is not about wagon trains and smallpox, but about a 13-year old boy who becomes a man while trying to clear his father's name who had been wrongly hanged for murdering his brother in a mining camp. It is one of the best Max Brand books that I've read and could hardly set it down.
