Where's the Cheese?" tells the story of Lil Mouse, who lives under the Dog Pound, and his search for cheese. In his search for cheese, the reader learns of his interesting life, and his encounters with all kinds of dogs in often humorous settings. The book is the first ever urban children's book. The book is not all about the cheese. The book is also about family, community, and the children. We wanted to make a children's book with stories that take place in an urban setting with urban characters that today's kids and adults could relate to.
