Winter reading!

The perfect reading location for Dog Walker is near a blazing fire; dim lights, and snow falling beyond your snug, protected world. Kizzier sets his stage so well that you will 'feel' the biting coldness of the Colorado Rockies. Dog Walker is a great new approach to the thriller. I read a review that said 'Dog Walker is a thriller with soul.' And I absolutely agree. There is a lot of book packed into 250 pages (very small print)and well worth every cent. This is one of those you'll remember and pick up again and again.

Dog Walker is a terrific read!

This book was a page turner from start to finish. Two very late nights and two very tired mornings later I can say without pause how pleased I was to have a thriller be so full, exciting, and different. I was beginning to believe that the publishing industry had decided that 'thrillers' did not really need a STORY to go along with the thrills. Well, I can assure you, DOG WALKER has story, thrills, great characters, and a few extras that I won't ruin here--you'll have to discover those for yourself. I give this book a five+ rating and can't wait for his next one.

Fast read--Great characters--A thriller, and so much more

I LIKED this book! So different from the run of the mill mainstream material that tumbles off the shelves. It has levels you don't expect in an Adventure Thriller, meanwhile the pace and action keeps you glued to the page. This one's a keeper.

Look out, there's a new guy in town!

In June, I read Dog Walker in e-book format and have become an instant fan. I've reviewed this novel on other services over the last months, but feel this book NEEDS its praises sung from the rafters--I was that impressed. At first I was cautious--the author is an actor for heaven sakes--but apparently he's been in the wrong business. Main Character, Scott Garrison, is a true reluctant Hero. Like Jason Bourne of Ludlum's "Bourne Identity," Garrison is thrown into a savage situation with no way out except to engage the enemy and fight. And fight he does with incredible ingenuity, despite the crippling odds. Early on, Kizzier takes us back to a harrowing time in Garrison's life in which he must make a life-altering decision. The detail of these scenes is frightenly realistic and makes me wonder what misery the author has endured in his own past. Dog Walker is a terrific read and well worth a trip to the bookstore.
