Each design is on an individual page so you can use ANY medium you'd like, and you can carefully remove the page if you'd like. Paint, markers and more can be used. If you do not want to remove the page, add an additional page on the back of the design and allow it to dry (if painting) to then continue to paint other pages to be safe.
