One of the greatest gifts that we can give our children is to teach them to pray. Jesus gave us the script when He taught His disciples how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. I recommend the King James Version. My prayer is for children to know God is with us always. (No mailbox needed). This book is about the very basics of prayer, providing a foundation in which to build on. My hope is that learning to connect with God at a young age will help children lean to God as they grow and mature, so they will know that God is always with them and that they are loved.
