Does God exist? This is a timeless question. And one that is of ultimate importance. It is directly related to questions like 'Will I go to heaven when I die?', 'What is good?', 'What am I to do?', and so on. In this book, I hope to give a definitive answer to this timeless and important question. Not based on scripture or divine revelation, although the answer does help to make sense of scripture and divine revelation. To answer the question, "Does God exist?", we first need to know what we mean with the word God. The first part of the proof deals with this, arguing that 'God' refers to something that is supernatural. We then need to know whether this exists. The second part of the proof deals with this, showing that, if God is supernatural, it follows that God exists. I cannot but hope that this may help you to attain salvation, divine union, enlightenment, liberation, wisdom, or whatever you call that which sets you free. Free from sin and the consequences of sin, free from separation, free from craving and ignorance and the pain it causes, free from the cycle of birth and death and its suffering, or, to put it in somewhat plainer terms, free from the stress that comes from being deceived by appearances.
