At the age of 5 Jacob discovers that his Grandfather (Papa) has Type 2 Diabetes. He doesn't understand the meaning of the word and fears that it means his Papa may die. Realizing that other children may have the same misunderstanding; this work is meant to quell that fear. It is written at the 3rd grade reading level. The activity pages at the end of the book are meant to help the reader remember the lessons learned from the story.
