Dodos in Space

When their idyllic island life becomes too monotonous for the dodos, they fly to space to fulfil their lifelong dream. The birds' crazy journey through the galaxy threatens to become an endless odyssey. But at least they get to meet aliens.

The dodos live in a peaceful, ultra-modern society on the island of Mauritius. During the day, they chill out on the idyllic sandy beaches, and in the evening, they lean back in their massage chairs and play with their smartphones. What more could a feathered fellow possibly want?
"To fly like all birds," replies Dirk, but the puny wings of the Dodo have always been one of nature's biggest jokes. Earth's gravity is not to be conquered by Dirk and his followers. Fortunately, gravity is relative. Somewhere in the Milky Way, there has to be a world where even dodos can take to the skies.
Out of the blue . . . planet, and with a crew as mad as a March hare, Dirk embarks on an odyssey through the galaxy.
