Favorite From My Childhood

We've found that older live-action musicals are great for clean, un-Disneyfied movie afternoons. I had fond memories of watching this movie at my grandma's house on summer afternoons, and now my children are enjoying it too. Full of animals and adventures with hummable tunes. It looks like it was made in an earlier era, but that's just fine by me. Surprisingly faithful to events drawn from the Dr. Dolittle series of books, though not a retelling of any one book.
