Great Romance

You'd think Simone would never find someone and of course she does. I Love the Jack Russell, he's the best character! Great book!

Thoroughly enjoyable light reading

Simone Littleton can talk to animals. A bit of an offbeat premise for a story that isn't SF, but Teri Wilson makes it work beautifully. As you might imagine, most people don't take Simone's gift seriously. Some even think she's crazy. Like handsome Chet Wallace. But he recognizes that Simone has a gift with horses and is willing to overlook her eccentric belief that she can talk to them. Simone rightly doesn't want to give her heart to a man who can't or won't believe in her. How these two fall in love against their better judgments and what it takes to bring them together in the end is what makes this book a fun to read romance. I especially enjoyed Pollock, the matchmaking Jack Russell terrier. Teri captures the essence of what it is to be a terrier with this loveable little dog. Though the animals can speak to Simone, this book is not hokey or unbelievable. The story focuses on Simone and Chet and how they overcome the obstacles to their love. It's an easy book to read - good for the beach, vacation or just evenings when you can catch a little reading time for yourself. And after you finish "Do You Hear What I Hear" you'll want to get book 2 in the Hoofbeats & Heartstrings series, "Love, Lilies and the Unbroken Straw"!

This is a heartwarming tale of romance set in Texas with vivid characters, some of them the four-legged kind. Who knew that aromatherapy and horses would ever be written about in the same book! Teri has penned not only a beautiful romantic novel, but a delightful account about a topic not commonly discussed - communication with animals. It strengthens one's belief in the possibilities of miracles, small and large. A must read for animal lovers and anyone looking for an uplifting, inspirational story filled with humor and wit. I loved it!

I just finished reading Teri Wilson's latest novel, Do You Hear What I Hear, Book One of her new Hoofbeats and Heartstrings Series, and I really hated for it to end. It felt as though the story was just beginning and I am excited to know it has! Any book that would combine horses with aromatherapy would naturally attract my attention. But then Teri added another element I wasn't so certain about - communicating with animals. As a Christian I was hesitant about this topic, and yet Teri not only pulled this off beautifully but how she shares this opens the readers eyes to so many possibilities and miracles. With the flick of her pen...or her keyboard, Teri Wilson shares one of the most important events in history and the impossibility of it from a human perspective all the while opening the readers eyes to other miracles abounding in the world today. Using horses, aromatherapy and a love story Teri weaves a tale that is more than a novel, more than a love story, it is THE love story in human history revealed.
