This book is great! It's a must-have for anyone with small children who are learning to ski, or will soon be taking their first lesson. It's beautifully illustrated with animals. You'll find a tiger tearing it up, a shredding raccoon, mice in the moguls and a powder-hound giraffe. The copy is short and sweet. It mixes in ski tips for the kids, such as, "Since the sun is so bright, and the snow is so white, egrets wear shades to protect their eye sight." Another page says, "To slow down, just make pizza, it's all you need know. The bigger the slice, the slower you go." The kids don't realize it, but they're learning something while reading it.There's even something for Mom and Dad. In the back of the book is a list of ski tips on how to keep your kids safe on the slopes, and have fun during their lessons.I have written about this book in my ski column called My Rockies!
