Good Little Book

This is the first Jake Page book I have ever read. I may read them all! He really is one of the great science writers. The book is easy and fun to read but full of well-documented facts about the history and psychology of wild and domestic dogs. Did you know that all dogs from wolves and coyotes to Shihtzus and Poodles have the same DNA? You will learn lots of interesting facts if you read this book. The book is academic, but with a personal touch. Mr. Page's own dogs, fish and wife (not necessarily in that order) are fondly mentioned. Now I am going to order his book about cats and the other one about dogs. Highly recommended for dog lovers and all curious parties.
