After serving 23 years in the Army Reserve and completing multiple overseas deployments, she retired in February 2023, possessing the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Three. She also worked as a civilian government employee for almost 22 years, retiring in July 2023. Rose Bush currently resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area where she enjoys creative writing and spending time with her family.
