Divine Delays in Your Spiritual Life

There are many things we want and feel we deserve, however, because we ask for them does not mean that we will get them right away just because we asked. Sometimes a criterion (that doesn't apply to our basic needs) is put in place by God, that has to be met before we are given what we've asked for.We have to understand that as God's spiritual children, He does and has the right to delay granting what we've asked Him for until we meet His prerequisite. Initially, this would not feel good to us because we want what we want, and can feel privileged to have what we want, based on our relationship with God, our Heavenly Father. We often dismiss (when it's convenient to us) that He is an all knowing God with infinite wisdom that He uses primarily for our good. Taking this into consideration and transforming our thinking into spiritual thinking, His Divine Delays are what is best for us.
