Distant Folk is a sci-fi fantasy series that follows the lives of six novelists from different worlds who discover that their stories are part of a cosmic conspiracy. Nirmal Koichuri writes an epic based on the ancient manuscripts of his people, the Aada Amiya. Vimal Katoor accesses the Aada Amiya through a futuristic device that lets him experience the stories as if he were there. Barker Istastiyo travels from the planet Aada, where the Aada Amiya is the sacred literature of his tribe. As they write their novels, they realize that their heroes are actually each other and that their stories are intertwined by a mysterious force. In a city ruled by a tyrant who controls their fate, they join forces with two rebels who oppose his regime. But they soon learn that it is all part of his plan to manipulate the multiverse and achieve his ultimate goal. Will they be able to stop him and save their worlds, or will they become his pawns in his twisted game?
