Discovery: Writing Adventures

This novel includes some of the works I completed in the school year 2013-2014 in Mrs. Getreu's English Honors. Initially, I wasn't excited to begin this novel, I was never into writing. Throughout the year, I realized that I am not a bad writer, in fact, I realized that I am a good writer. In this novel, I included the works I am most proud of, as well as the ones that really touched me. Although I was unable to include a work on The Catcher in the Rye, I would still like to give the novel credit for inspiring me to write out all of my problems. This novel starts off with The Story of Our Immigration so readers can have background information on me. I then included the poems I made, a short memoir, my first literary analysis, and a three sentence horror story in celebration of Halloween. Finally, I also included a creation myth made in a group of people. The co-authors of the Creation Myth "The Story of Terra" are Colby Snell, Jake Pardo, and Madelyn Lau.
