A great testiment to the power of God

I think that the book was a great story of how a cult came to full christian faith. It's an amazing tribute to the power of the word of God.That is not, however why I am writing this review. I am writing it based on the comments above. For on thing: OF COURSE THE AUTHORS FAVOR MARTIN LUTHER'S THEOLOGY! THEY ARE LUTHERAN PASTORS!!!!!!!!!!On another note, please dont misquote what Luther Said about the book of James. He didn't call it a house of straw that should be removed from the bible, in fact he had this to say,"Though this epistle of St.James was rejected by the acients, I praise it and concider it a good book, because it sets up no doctrines of men but vigorously promulgates the law of God" (LW 35:395).If you want to quote, fine, but please quote directly and cite your sources to prove that you know what you are talking about and that you didn't just find your facts heresay from someone else.

Churches DO REPENT and come to the TRUTH!!

This is a great book, with a neat story to tell of a religious cult that eventually turned to Biblical Christianity. The World-Wide Church of God, was a sect founded by Herbert W. Armstrong. This group became a legalistic works-oriented, Old Testament worshipping sect (often called a cult by in the know researchers) that was willing to look at itself again in light of the Scriptures versus the dogma espoused by the founder and his son. A religious group CAN come cack to orthodoxy and to the fellowship of Bible-loving believers of all denominations. One would hope the LDS church would follow in the example of TWWCOG, since they claim to be Christians. A fascinating read. For a full review please email me.
