"Discover Birds with Natalie" is a unique introduction to the world of birds for children. Natalie, our guide, is six-years-old. Natalie discusses each bird's habitat, why they are special and why she likes them. With Natalie as our guide we cover domestic birds, hummingbirds, songbirds, raptors, seabirds and waterfowl that reside in Eastern United States. The book concludes with tips to help children understand what is required to help maintain our precious bird wildlife. The book also contains fun facts about birds to help children gain a better understanding of these amazing creatures. A portion of the book proceeds goes towards the Marine Science Center Bird Sanctuary located in Ponce Inlet, Florida. This sanctuary runs a rescue mission to save injured birds. To date the sanctuary has rescued over 17,000 birds.
