Disco Detective - Closing The Case of Mrs. Borgia: An Al Repane Mystery in 1978

By Enrique Suares

Just when he was getting close to discovering the backstory of his mysterious client, the lovely CC Borgia, private detective Al Repane is attacked and k.o.-ed on his patio only to wake up to learn his assailants have kidnaped his client.

Repane's first problem is not to discover where she went but which one of the people who have been following her is the kidnapper. Is it the greedy ex-husband, the murderous Gypsy fortune teller, the old Nazi who masquerades as a woman, or one of the three corrupt politicians who may be behind the death of a woman whose body was left on the steps of the California State Capitol building?

The answer will lead Repane far from his home in Sacramento, California to the glittering French Rivera, where he will discover danger and intrigue behind the walls of a French chateau.
