Tiring a bit of his own poetry (modestly prodigious though it was) as it tended to be about himself and about himself writing poetry and about about himself writing about writing about poetry, he decided to cleanse his palate and that of his three readers by writing some short stories. These stories are indeed exceedingly short, and many of them moreover are quite short also in the story aspect, normally expected of short stories. But he felt that though lacking in stature, aplomb, and natural literary worth, because they had all basically been inspirited by a dream, he would proceed with the whole dubious enterprise. Now normally in the blurbesque descriptions he provided to entice manifold readers (three) he relied on his wit and verbosity.
