The way the game is played in this city means Bobby Evans made a big mistake in thinking he can rip off Bart. And he's dumb enough to think I can hide him.
That doesn't make me feel good, even though having his money in my hands does.
At least I can get a new air conditioner for the bar Johnny and I own. The heat wave is killing us and crippling business, so I'll spend it that way. I'll get a good one-if things don't go right, this might be the last time I get a chance to buy anything.
