Thirty years ago, these stories would have been considered very dirty, few of which could be said in public. However, as the public mores have changed, at this point most of the jokes would be considered mainstream. There are very few instances of what would be considered the seven heavy dirty words, most of the jokes rely on situations and circumstances to generate the humor. Two typical entries appear on pages 125 and 133 respectively. A man brought two monkeys into a taxidermist's shop. "Would you like them mounted?" the shopkeeper asked. "No," answered the customer, "just shaking hands." Doctor: (Taking up his stethoscope) "Big breaths." Girl: "Yeth, and I'm not thixteen yet." If you are someone who appreciates humor that is off-color without being crude, then this collection of jokes is one that you will enjoy.
