Ichabod Jacobe is a young Jewish boy in the midst of the Holocaust. Taken from his home and pushed into a concentration camp, he lies about his age and is treated like an eighteen year old prisoner. Soon, with the wisdom of Matias, he starts seeing the world in a different view than the black and white he's used to. He sees that there are shades of gray when it comes to right and wrong, good and evil.This is about that journey and finding the ability to have hope when all you know is sadness and death.
