Great for Middle School-Aged Kids

This is a book that you will probably read over and over again. The story starts out where you're standing out in the middle of a prehistoric forest, and like a safari, you begin to travel through a dinosaurian world. The book describes how to identify a dinosaur. There's even dinosaur anatomy, what to expect what to find in a herbivorous or carnivorous dinosaur, how they digest their food, etc. Don't expect to find a profile and explanation of certain dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, etc. but instead, this book is more like taking a journey back in time. The pictures in this book are average, usually with dinosaur models(probably found in museums?), and not too much illustrations(like drawings and paintings). You'll learn many different types of extinction theories, such as the common meteor from space, climate change, volcanoes, and disease. This is a good book for anyone maybe under 13(I wouldn't reccomend this book for older adults).
