Very enjoyable.

I first stumbled across this book researching paleontologists, and I'm glad I found it. It showed me some of the history on a field of science I have loved since I was very young. I found it to be enjoyable reading. It was neither a compilement of dry facts nor oversimplified mush, but informative and interesting. Worthwhile to read.
