My girls favorite book— now a gift for every baby shower we go to💗

This book has been treasured by my girls. They are now teenagers and still love to give it as a gift for our friends and family that are raising new families. Heartwarming and adorable. My daughter still loves ducks to this day!!

Perfect bedtime book

Both my girls loved this book for bedtime. I read it every night for years. Now, to help my desperate brother, I've introduced it to my niece by Skype to keep her occupied until my sister-in-law got home from the doctor. The beautiful pictures and the rhythmic words are the perfect book to get kids to calm down for bed.

A great "anytime" book but an even better bedtime book.

"Dimmity Duck waddles, she toddles and she sings. Giggle-gaggle goes her tail and whoosh! go her wings." Dimity Duck is adorable. She waddles and toddles from morning 'til night. She play's at the pond with her friend Frumity Frog. They splish, splash, dawdle, and dip until the sun sinks out of sight, and Dimity Duck grows tired and goes home. She gets into her gown, fluffs her pillow, and waddles and toddles off to bed. Fantastic illustrations - cute as can be! This is a great "anytime" book but an even better bedtime book. Sweet Little Story

I had checked this book out at the library, already knowing what a wonderful author Jane Yolen is. Well, I was impressed once again with this sweet little toddler story. My girl just turned two and about three months ago, she asked us to read this book to her every night before bed. I had to renew the book twice and finally decided we had to buy it, this book is so precious to her. The words on each page are just right for a two-year-old attention span. The writting is so lovely and flowing, it is a joy to read aloud! The illustrations of Dimity and her frog friend are just adorable. She still has this book in her rotation of favorite bedtime stories.

Perfection!

The book deserves the highest of praise! Dimity Duck is a favorite for my daughter's bedtime story. Yolen has teamed up with great illustrators for her children's books that match the quality of the words - Dimity Duck is only one example of this. Delightful Dimity

I borrowed this from the library and we have fallen in love with Dimity. My 26 month old daughter laughs and smiles as Dimity and Frumity Frog play. I'll be getting this as gifts for friend's toddlers. A sure classic, great fun to read, can't help but smile.

Super Cute

I love the fun lyrical (sp)flow of the story and the illustrations are adorable. My 9 month old is in love with this book and I love reading it with her every night!
