Dilly Duck will steal your heart!

Dilly Duck is a warm, loveable character who engages children in a charming story. It is one of those books that children will ask you to read over and over again. Embedded in the story, readiness learning skills such as rhyming, pre-reading, and counting are introduced. Another aspect of the book is that it highlights the value of friendship and kindness. It provides an opportunity to foster these important qualities and social-emotional skills at an early age. The discussion questions enhance comprehension, at the same time offering an opportunity for children to talk about their feelings and friendships. The supplemental resource guide is an added bonus. In my opinion, it's a book that parents and teachers should have on their shelves. It's on mine!
