I know this is the author's first work, so I didn't expect much. However, I found it to be a very easy read, and hard to put down in certain parts. The subject matter is very interesting, and presented in a balanced manner that leaves you asking yourself more questions than you began with. The characters bring life to the issue, making it impossible to not critically examine your own thoughts on assisted suicide. Its a great beach book that will make you occasionally put it down and ponder some life issues, I highly recommend it.
