This book analyzes digital transformation in public organizations, emphasizing the importance of aligning organizational processes and information systems to improve performance. Drawing on several theoretical frameworks (New Public Management, strategic alignment, systems theory, and change management), it highlights the need for consistent integration of information systems to support business strategy. The study adopts a research-intervention approach based on feedback from ten practitioners involved in the implementation of an electronic archiving system at the Mohammed VI-Oujda University Hospital Center. The results show that organic alignment promotes better information flow, more effective decision-making, and an overall improvement in organizational performance.
