This is a book about how people in New York get around and survive while living in New York with a disability. From getting around in Access R Ride to benefits from Human Resources Administration (HRA).

While at the HRA there was a lady in the booth next to mines she said she had a back injury and couldn't work so she went to HRA for assistance to pay her bills.

In New York, there is a robust public transportation system from public buses: to trains and taxis such as Uber and Lyft. For some people with disability they can get Medicaid transportation among other transportation for people with disabilities.

This is a book to empower people with disabilities to live a wholesome life in New York while living with different disabilities from both psychological and physical disabilities. For instance, the public transportation buses have reserved seats for people with disabilities such as Wheelchairs, walking sticks and walkers etc. at the front of the bus.
