Purnima, a charming girl who lives in Muzzaffarpur, Bihar, has a lot of aspirations. However, many social evils and superstitious customs and rituals come in the way of her achieving her goals.

Different World tells the tale of any girl born where the light of modern education is yet to reach; where society still considers women to be unwanted, ominous people.

It protests against the injustice done to millions of girls in our country, who are deprived of basic education and the right to think for themselves.

Different World is not a book, but a protest.
