By Esglã(c)Sia Catã²lica

Die Viii Decembris Officium Proprium Cum Octava Immaculatae Conceptionis Beatae Mariae Virginis is a Latin liturgical text dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. Designated as the principal patron saint of Spain and the Indies, the Virgin Mary is honored through prayers and observances sanctioned by Pope Clement XIII at the request of Charles III. This text offers a glimpse into the religious practices and Marian devotion within the Catholic Church during the 18th century. It serves as a valuable resource for scholars of religious history, liturgical studies, and Marian theology, illustrating the cultural and spiritual significance of the Immaculate Conception within the Spanish and colonial context.
