Die Try:One man's quest to conquerthe seven summits

What impressed me most about Die trying were not the amazing accomplishments by Bo Parfet but his willingness to share his frailties and flaws. This is what sets Die trying apart from typical mountaineering stories of risk and self reliance. This swiftly moving first-class adventure story is full of courage, humor, and exquisite detail. It is a must read for anyone who has been told they can't but know that they can and isn't afraid to die trying. Richard Wiese Author "Born to Explore"

Die Trying: One Man's Quest to Conquer the Seven Summits

Out of all the climbing books out on the market today, Die Trying: One Man's Quest to Conquer the Seven Summits is on the cutting edge of the highest mountain of good books. This one I will re-read and read again. Bo's physical, personal and spiritual struggle bring to life my own inner dreams to conquer the summits of life!

Awesome and Inspiring

Loved it. The triumph of the human spirit against insurmountable odds. At one minute is was crying, then laughing, then crying again as Bo Parfet recounts his experiences atop the world's highest peaks. A personal, humble journey filled with anecdotal comparisons between climbing, business, and personal life. A must read for the adventurer in all of us.

An Excellent Balance of Adventure and Personal Memoir

Die Trying is not just a catalogue of mountain exploits, "I climbed up one peak and down another." It is the perfect balance of hard-core mountaineering and thoughtful introspection. It also manages to answer those questions you always wanted to ask about life in a tent at 28,000 feet. A great page-turner!!
