This book is really a must have for all persons in ministry or considering working in the ministry. This book will definetely help you understand the role of a Pastor as well as the role of other ministries of the church , which I would consider to be the backbone of the church. This book will help you realize the importance of the simple or what we would call the minor things in church ministry which, if overlooked could and would cause a major problem. This book will ultimately cause you to look at ministry and the role of a Pastor in a whole new light. The author also brings out some very thought provoking comments concerning men and women operating in the preaching and teaching ministry, the duties of a trustee, and the duties of a Pastoral Administrative Assistant. This book will without a doubt be one that will be a conversation piece for years and years to come. The chapter that interested me the most was Chapter 3. If you want to know what Chapter 3 is about than you have to go and buy the book. In the next few weeks I will be starting a chat room solely to discuss this book. I can't wait until the next book comes out.
