Proverbs and aphorisms should be classified by their concepts rather than alphabetically, because in the majority of cases their literal meaning does not contain or convey the message. The present work is the first of its kind in classifying Proverbs and Aphorisms conceptually. The method described can be used for computer-retrieval of proverbs and aphorisms when one needs to use one. Moreover new entries could be added by the user without the need of alphabetic order.
