Dick: A bank novel

Jan is working as a portfolio manager at an investment company in Luxembourg. He is going to have, as he feels it, a nice weekend in Prague with his old parents. A day before, he was moving to Prague, traveling to Brussel, where he was going to attend a regular training of his company the next day. While traveling to the Brussel he met someone who proves to be a messenger of a bad event, which he would be later facing. Indeed, when taking accommodation in a hotel, he found the behaviour of the receptionist quite bizarre.

There is second hero, who has a nickname in the story Engineer. This is an exceptionally intelligent man, who hat next to his common quite interesting job as a sort of amusement a second job, cyber crime. Next to this hero, there is third character with the nickname Watcher, who is an expert on stealing the data related to payment cards, when people are using ATMs. And finally, there is a very dirty character with the nickname Dick. He is just a detestable person, who makes a living by stealing money from people.

All these characters meet at one moment in one place to make Jan experience something quite awkward, something he never lived through yet. When seeking for help, Jan finds out that the social institutions work just in the way, which is not convenient to common people. Actually it seems to him that the system which is developed and maintained by these institutions is there to oppress people not to help them.

That is why he decided to find a solution to his problem on his own.
